Committed Tutor in Languages (Italian mothertongue)

My name is Sara and I am a university student at the School of Interpreting and Translation in Trieste. I am currently in my third year of university and I am living in Belgium as an Erasmus student, where I have the opportunity to actively use and improve my study languages (English, German and Dutch). I also attended a language high school, where I obtained a double diploma with a specialization in French. During my first year at university, I additionally completed an A1 course in Chinese. I have a strong passion for linguistics and for everything related to intercultural communication. My hobbies include reading and writing, especially blogs and poetry. I consider myself an open-minded, patient, creative and reflective person. I enjoy challenges and pushing myself beyond my comfort zone, and I am confident that I can also learn a great deal from my students. I have experience teaching Italian to foreign students, as well as providing tutoring to students with learning difficulties and supporting students with their after-school activities. I have worked in international and multilingual environments, such as in European projects and festivals. In the future, I would like to work in publishing, journalism or international cooperation. I understand very well how intimidating learning a new language can be and how challenging that is (coming from an Italian, I only study Germanic languages!). For this reason, I would love to pass on my passion to those who struggle with learning these subjects.
